Achieving your dreams is more than you think or know. Achieving your dreams is possible but at a cost to you.
The biblical Joseph had a dream that one day he will be a great man and his brothers will bow to him. This dream of his caused his brothers to despise him.
Later on, later on, his brothers sold him into slavery to some merchants who in turn sold him to Potiphar.
Josephs refusal to succumb to the advances of the wife of his master led to his imprisonment.
From prison, he transcended to the palace. He later became a prime minister, and his brothers eventually bowed to him. He ultimately achieved his glorious dream at a cost.
Meaning Of Dream
Dream refers to a strongly desired goal or Purpose; it also means a cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal.
Dream is not just a strong desire; it is the reality of Innovations, scientific breakthrough and more.
It is the complete opposite of reality.
Do You Have A Dream?
I don’t believe that there’s anyone without a dream, a beautiful vision of a great and glorious tomorrow.
“A man without a dream is as good as dead.”
There’s a between dream and fantasy.
A lot of people don’t have dreams; instead, they have a fantasy.
Fantasy is the process or power of creating unrealistic or improbable mental images in response to a psychological need.
Dream without hard work is mere Fantasy.
Fantasizing is a hazardous habit that could become an addiction if not properly taken care of.
You could be daydreaming about something you know is not possible. You can get rid of your addictions.
A lot of people are not maximizing their today, and this is why they end up not actualizing their dreams.
As earlier stated, Dream is the complete opposite of reality.
Everything good, beautiful and perfect all started as mere dreams in mind.
Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream that all people would be judged on who each person was as a person and not on the colour of that person’s skin.
He had a dream that we would follow the ideas in the Declaration of Independence that all people are created equal.
Today, that dream has become a reality.
Nelson Mandela also had a dream that one day, his people the South Africans would be free form being ruled by the colonial masters. I’m sure you’ve heard the story. He, later on, achieved his dream. But at a price.
He was imprisoned for 27 years for conspiring to overthrow the state. Despite everything, his dream was not killed. He suffered for his desire to come to reality, and it did.
Let your dream conform to your vision.

When you are not determined, you can give up easily. But when you are determined, your attention is fixed firmly to your purpose.
Determination is setting your mind on a particular task.
The human mind is the greatest asset bestowed upon us by God.
Anything you set your mind to is half-accomplished. Your mind is your greatest asset.

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
— Philippians 1:6
You can’t say you have a dream and you are not prayerful.

The wife of his master Potiphar even seduced him, but he refused to succumb to her advances, that singular act of his, led to his imprisonment. From prison, he became a prime minister.
